"American Girl"
So the Giants won. I was hoping to see a perfect season by the Patriots, but I will get over it. Honestly, I wasn't too invested in either team. At least one of the Tom's delivered Sunday night. The highlight of this year's Super Bowl was the half time show with the one and only Tom Petty!!! I can't accurately describe my excitement when he came out on the stage. A lot of my friends were annoyed that he was chosen for this year's half time show, complaining that he is too old and outdated. Did you see the show? It was AMAZING! I loved when the lights were out and the entire stadium lighted up with cell phones to Free Fallin'. One of the best Super Bowl half time shows of ALL TIME! Much better than Prince's performance last year. Thank you Tom for producing such great music and putting on a rockin' show! I was inspired.

I completely second that! What a guy! It was truly a great performance! He never ceases to let me down! He is coming to the Gorge this summer and I want to go so bad! We'll see! WHOOOOOO TOM!!
I totally thought of you when the opening song was American Girl! Brought back fond memories of this song blasting in the car as we rocked out. Loved it!

I was thinking of you and your family during the half time show. I even told the friends that we were watching it with how your whole family went to a Tom Petty concert, that just makes me giggle!
I would die to see Tom perform. How fun for you!

Okay Michele. I know you have been busy, but seriously, I've been checking your blog multiple times a day just hoping for a new post! This means one of two things:
1. Its been a really long time since you have blogged.

remember how freakishly awesome tom petty was? and how freakishly similar missy's hair was to tom's? you almost took the cake at the oscar party tonight. you might have to fight patricia for the prize!!
