A Job Well Done!

I need to congratulate my cougars on their respectable 2009 football season. We started the season off right beating no. 3 ranked, Oklahoma, and ended the season with a celebratory stomping over no. 18 ranked Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl. Is it bad that I wanted BYU to keep running up the score? I love pounding a PAC 10 team. There were some rocky moments throughout the season, but overall an 11-2 record is pretty impressive (including a Utah victory)!

My New Year's Goals for BYU football:

1. revert back to the classic byu uniforms (royal blue), they are much better. Navy just doesn't stand out in the stadium. I need to see a sea of blue cheering on the cougs.

2. An invitation to a bowl other than Las Vegas.

3. significantly limit the number of penalties in a game.

how about actually get into a conference that counts for something? Or...how about beat the Utes? Or... what about getting a QB that doesn't pop off every news conference.

Oh yeah
1. Navy must stay- the team looks comical in the old color.
2. Las Vegas is all they get to and it seems to keep the alumni happy so why rock the boat? After all if you go undefeated in the conference you still get the shaft- I present to you exhibit A: University of Utah.
3. Penalties? Doesn't BYU have an honor coade of all the teams they should above all else NOT get any penalties.
