One of these weekends I will make it to the pool...for now, I will have to deal with my pasty body.

don't judge me...
Tonight I find myself gchatting with my good friend, KC. Our conversation went something like this...
KC:
KC:
i just watched the bachelorette
is it just me or was that heart-wrenching??
MM: i know...i was freaking out! don't make fun of me, but i literally cried.
KC: oh i cried like 8 times
MM: it was more intense than american idol
KC: i cried when jeremy read that thing about his mom, when ty ran to his dad, when deanna told graham it ended here
KC:

KC:
i am SO TORN
i think jesse is adorable and surprising and genuine
i think jeremy is "perfect" but maybe a little to competitive, but i think it's a mask for what's happened to his family
jason, oh my gosh, who wouldn't want to have a husband like that, but that's a lot to agree to
and graham...
wow, yes, i'm overanalyzing this
MM:
MM:
jesse needs to go
love him
but there is NO passion
i feel like they are just buddies
but the kiss was REALLY good
jeremy is too perfect...and could be a little on the boring side
too text book
BUT beautiful
and i think you're right, he may be masking his feelings because of his mom's death
KC:
KC:
i seriously felt depressed after i watched it
i think i was disconnected from my real life
KC: thanks for talking to me about this, i feel like i'm back in the real world
It is a little embarrassing to admit how obsessed I am with this season's bachelorette. Is anyone else as obsessed as I am?? DeAnna is beautiful, smart, insightful, and a good communicator. The bachelors remaining are all good men. My heart is currently with team Jason. Graham went home last night only to make my game of MASH come true. I will let you know when the wedding is.

You know you are getting old WHEN...
You get really excited to iron, after purchasing your first ironing board. The last couple of nights, I've been an ironing fool. Do we think the excitement will fade? Mom, you'd be so proud.
My next big purchase was a vacuum! I am 24 years old and own a vacuum. Even more than ironing, I love to have clean carpet! I officially am a nerd for getting so much pleasure from these two new purchases. I am my mother's daughter. Happy cleaning!

Goodbye Wednesday
Top 5 Reasons Why Wednesday was a good day:
1. I went running outside with my roommate, and we ended up running farther than I thought. I was introduced to this helpful site: www.mapmyrun.com!
2. I was craving sweets ALL day long, thanks to my friend that comes out this time of month. I am attempting to participate in a biggest loser program, that requires me to refrain from sugar. Thank goodness I have a competitive side to me, or else the ice cream in my freezer would have been devoured. Sugar-free vanilla wafer cookies are my new best friend.
3. Wednesday is over...we are officially more than half way done with the work week. Hooray!
4. I had a date with my dear friends Nordstrom and BR. The only money spent was the $1.50 spent on parking fees. Two thumbs up for self discipline!!
5. Engaged in a comical conversation with my brother on why the patriarch of my family is instructing his children to avoid political discussions and competitive basketball games at the family reunion this summer. Geez...the reunion is still over a month away and we are already getting the pep talk :) Am I allowed to start talking trash to all the Blodgett's out there? Let the games begin!

Hooked.
I am obsessed with brick breaker. Seriously...I need to put it away and start reading on the bus. It really is a simple game. You have a paddle, launch a ball in the air and try to break the bricks. As you get farther along in the game, the ball goes faster and faster. Brick breaker is definitely the new solitaire. Ahhhh the little things that entertain us.
